WHAT IS A PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION (PDI)?
The homeowner orientation appointment, otherwise known as the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI), typically takes place during the week prior to the closing date of your new home. This scheduled appointment will be conducted by an MCR Homes Inc. representative and will last one to two hours. This orientation meeting provides the homeowner with the opportunity of becoming more familiar with all components of the home. It is at this time that the owner will receive an explanation of the various features and functions of the home, including general maintenance items (eg. furnace, fireplace, exhaust fan operation, etc.). Any pre-delivery deficiencies and imperfections are to be addressed and documented on the Pre-Delivery Inspection form.
